Our robotics research lab is focused on the software intelligence required to autonomously navigate complex missions on land, sea and air, as well as the hardware delivery methods to make rapid deployments of intelligent vehicles safe, practical and economical.

Roughly divided into four categories of focus, our researchers are investigating:

  • Highly adaptive mission guidance intelligence that integrates proprietary navigation heuristics optimized to dynamically acclimate into novel hostile environments
  • Integrated on-board command and control intelligence that permits adaptive mission objectives and intelligence, including real-time optimizations of mission tactics, priorities and waypoint planning, without reliance on communications with base stations
  • Highly configurable mission intelligence packages, sensor packages and vehicle options that are automatically and dynamically configured based on mission profiles
  • Adaptive mission-based power configuration technologies to optimize payload and selections based on ambient condition forecasts and mission dynamics across projected route path options.

Complexities of modern software, especially enterprise grade software, require progressively sophisticated development practices, but even the progression of these practices are not enough, and that’s why we’re dedicating researchers to investigate novel approaches to frameworks that ease the burden of developing both backend and frontend mission critical software.

APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT (ALM)

Managing enterprise software development complexity… simply

ALM is part of the larger picture at virtually all enterprise IT departments, but our researchers aren’t content with the disconnected nature of the current generation of solutions, and that’s why we’re investing in a new concept of workflow optimization targeted at automating the most labor intensive and error prone components of enterprise scale application lifecycle management.
